FAQ

Frequently asked questions

While there are many overlapping capabilities required for motion graphics and other kinds of animation, motion graphics does demand a solid understand of typography and textual animation. Having a vocabulary of transitions is useful for mo-graph animators. Character animation, on the other hand, is a very specific and distinct skill-set.

While this can differ enormously depending on complexity and length, motion graphics projects can be scheduled a bit more aggressively than other kinds of animation. Once the style is set, it can often be easier to add people to a team without losing the stylistic thread.
